This summer, football fans across Abu Dhabi don’t need a plane ticket to feel the stadium. Cinemacity Starlight at Marina Mall and Al Qana are set to screen FIFA World Cup 2026 matches live, in partnership with beIN Sports as Official Broadcaster, giving residents and visitors an unmatched matchday experience right in the heart of the city.
Under the campaign banner Matchday, Together, the two venues will offer live screenings of selected World Cup 2026 fixtures across all three group stage rounds — from the opening match on June 11 through to the knockout stages — with each location delivering a distinct atmosphere tailored to its audience.
At Al Qana, the experience is designed for groups and families. Alongside live screenings on the big screen, guests can take part in the exclusive Goal Challenge — an interactive football activity running every match night, where participants who score four or five goals earn complimentary food and drink, with top scorers entered into a nightly prize draw. Group and family packages are available, with online and offline booking options.
At Marina Mall, CinemaCity Starlight offers the flagship cinema-scale big screen experience under the Big Screen, Stadium Feeling concept, while 1927 — the venue’s licensed 21+ lounge — caters to those looking for a more premium, bar-led matchday setting.
